WHO IS NEW COVENANT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL?
New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) is a trans-local, apostolic/prophetic team linked internationally to churches through their pastors and leaders from many different backgrounds, who hold to common ministry vision and Biblical values, and who relate to one another through on-going relationships of mutual integrity, and non-exclusive friendship. This in turn enables effective functional ministry to be received and reciprocated.
NEW COVENANT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL'S VISION
The vision is essentially two-fold: Firstly to see strong and healthy eldership - led local churches established and nurtured where the priesthood of all believers is exercised, and believers are trained, equipped, and released to grow to their full potential and maturity in God. It is also, in this context, to nurture elders to be skillful shepherds, ministering with integrity of heart.
Secondly, it is to facilitate the vision and command of Jesus to disciple the nations of the world, by providing and encouraging leadership and church planting training in various forms, foundational ministry to pastors and churches; and practical opportunities throughout the world to participate in short or long term church planting projects.
NEW COVENANT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL'S VALUES
The foundational value is that not only is the Bible held to be the inspired and authoritative word of God, but also the accepted standard for life, ministry and conduct in the church. This has practical implications in terms of the way in which relating pastors are accountable to one another (in addition to their own respective churches) and direct their lives both individually and corporately, in order to see God's truth established in their own lives and also in the earth.The relating pastors and leaders recognize and respect the Biblical authority of each local church eldership. Ministry into the local church by other gifted leaders, therefore, takes place only by invitation as friendships develop and mutual giftings in God are recognized and accepted.
